Individual therapy *
Something led you to explore therapy. Maybe you’ve experienced trauma or other challenging life experiences, repeatedly encounter the same roadblocks and patterns in your relationships, or struggle to live with overwhelming emotions. Maybe you're not sure where to start, but you know you don't want to do it alone.
I support clients in working through past experiences to come to a place of increased steadiness. I believe that you already have what you need to heal, that your body and its signals are telling the truth, and that we all have an immense capacity for change and healing. My job is to offer a container that feels like both a refuge and a safe-enough space to go to hard places. My hope is that you walk away feeling that you not only understand your past intellectually, but feel a deeper, more integrated sense of resolution and self-trust.
If any of these themes resonate with you, we may be a good fit:
-
Traumatic and other challenging life experiences can overwhelm us and keep us feeling stuck and fragmented. I have a deep respect for the ways in which you’ve learned to survive following some of the hardest moments of your life. We can work together to build an inner sense of safety that will allow us to gently approach painful memories and move towards integration.
-
EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a modality that integrates thoughts, emotions, and body sensations to support integration of trauma and other challenging mental and emotional health symptoms. I have pursued advanced training in EMDR, including specialized protocols for prolonged and ongoing traumatic stress, and am currently pursuing certification. Feel free to reach out to learn more!

So often we can feel that our minds and bodies are separate, or that our bodies are the enemy for how they look or for the overwhelming sensations they produce. Sometimes we can conceptually understand our trauma, but the body feels numb or far away. Grounded in both formal neuroscience research as well as experiential discovery, we can work together to strengthen your contact with and trust in your body’s signals.
-
Therapy can be a fantastic space to explore sexuality and gender identity, and these themes are some of my personal favorite to dig into in sessions. May our time together move you to a deeper connection with and understanding of yourself.
Immigration Evaluations

Immigration Evaluations *
I warmly welcome clients seeking psychological evaluations to strengthen their immigration cases. These evaluations can be helpful in the following types of cases:
U-Visa
T-Visa
VAWA (Violence Against Women Act)
Asylum
Extreme Hardship
To ensure accurate and trauma-informed evaluation, I exclusively work with clients who are actively working with an immigration attorney. This ensures that clients are provided the correct type of evaluation for their specific circumstances.
-
Immigration evaluations can support your case by providing vital context regarding your immigration and trauma history and its impact on your mental health. Evaluations can also convey the predicted impact of removal on the client and/or their loved ones.
-
Each evaluation can vary widely. You can expect that we will meet at least once for about 1.5 hours, though additional meetings are extremely common. During our meetings, we will discuss your immigration history, trauma history, physical and mental health history, and work history. If needed, we will take breaks along the way and schedule additional meetings as needed.
Once I’ve gathered all of the needed information, I will write a report which will then be sent to your lawyer.
-
Evaluations can take up to 4 weeks to complete, though this timeline can vary depending on scheduling needs, the complexity of the case, and other factors.
-
Evaluations can and often do include a specific mental health diagnosis based on the history and symptoms reported during the interview. However, I am unable to guarantee a specific desired diagnosis before an evaluation is conducted.
Fees
My private-pay rate is $150 per 50-minute session with limited sliding-scale spots available for those who qualify. I don’t currently accept insurance but am happy to provide a Superbill to submit to insurance for reimbursement.
My fees for immigration evaluations range from $500-$800. Additional fees may apply if medical interpretation is needed for languages other than English or Spanish, as well as if court testimony is required. Please reach out with any questions!
